Ilia Samsonenko established a distinguished career in the fields of satellite communications and quantum cryptography. He graduated with honors from both his Bachelor's and Master's programs at the Faculty of Physics, specializing in "Infocommunication Technologies and Communication Systems". Early in his professional journey, he was employed at the Radio Communication Research Institute, where he contributed to the development of satellite communication technologies.
Subsequently, Mr. Samsonenko transitioned into the field of quantum cryptography, focusing on the development and architectural design of devices, some of which have been successfully brought to market. His expertise encompasses high-speed digital data processing systems and interfaces, FPGA programming, embedded systems, circuit design, and PCB layout development. He is also highly knowledgeable in digital algorithms and synchronization systems. Mr. Samsonenko is committed to creating innovative solutions in communication technologies, with a particular focus on advanced communication systems and cryptography that bridge the gap between science and practical application.
Currently at QRC, Mr. Samsonenko develops architectural solutions for Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems. He performs a full spectrum of tasks, ranging from initial conceptual sketches to the implementation of algorithms in finalized devices. His role involves end-to-end development processes, ensuring that theoretical designs are effectively translated into practical, market-ready technologies.
