Prof. Rosario Fazio

Rosario Fazio received his PhD in Physics in 1990 from the University of Catania (Italy). He is currently Head of the Condensed Matter and Statistical Physics Section at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste. He is also professor of theoretical condensed matter at the University of Naples (on leave). Previously he held professor positions at Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa) and International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste. His research interests are in theoretical condensed matter and quantum information processing focusing on quantum transport in nano-structures, superconductivity, quantum simulators, and non-equilibrium many-body systems.
