Pedro Pereira

Pedro Pereira is a researcher in the High temperature thermoplastic composites group at AMRC. He has a master’s degree in Chemistry, University of Porto. Pedro brings to the team 5+ years of experience in the adhesive industry, being responsible for synthesizing new polymers/formulations and industrial scalability. Before joining TII, he was involved in multiple European projects producing carbon fiber composite with sensing capabilities and developing IR reflective and oleophobic materials. His research scope as part of TII focuses on developing thermoplastic resin formulations to produce high-performance thermoplastic unidirectional tape.
