Omar Ba Nabila

Omar is a Senior Engineer in the Energy Absorption Team in the materials research center. He successfully achieved an MSc with Distinction in Advanced Engineering Materials from the University of Manchester in 2023, earning the course prize from the Department of Materials for attaining the highest overall score in the department. Moreover, he has trained in different entities, including research-based and manufacturing industries. Indeed, Omar won a couple of prizes, such as the Future Makers Award in the “Leading Student” Category in 2020 and the Medal of Excellent in the Kazan WorldSkills international competition in 2019. Omar has experience in Simulation, Material characterization, Intensive experimental impact testing, Data analysis, and 3D drawing. His ultimate objective is to serve the UAE and contribute positively to the community.
