Laura Martinez Gallego

Laura Martinez completed her bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Science at the Complutense University of Madrid in 2022. In her final year of study, she did an internship at the Astronomical Observatory of Yebes in Spain. From 2022 to 2023, she worked as a backend developer for a multinational company. In 2023, Laura Martinez finally transitioned to the innovative field of Quantum Computing, focusing on the paradigm of quantum annealing as a Quantum Algorithm Researcher. In October 2024, she began her Master’s in Quantum Computing Technology at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and joined the Quantum Computation group at QRC as an Associated Researcher, responsible for the characterization and calibration of superconducting devices.
