Edoardo Alessandroni

Edoardo Alessandroni obtained his bachelor’s degree in Physics form the University of Trieste in Italy, in 2019. He then obtained his master's degrees in Data Science and Scientific Computing in a joint program among SISSA, ICTP and the University of Trieste in 2021, spending his last period at the QUB in Belfast conducting his master thesis. In 2022 he joined SISSA, in Italy, as a Phd student and since October 2023 has been an Associate Researcher in the Quantum Algorithms group at QRC. His main field of research is quantum algorithms for combinatorial optimization, with a focus on near-term applications on NISQ devices.
