Dr. Luca Chirolli
Dr. Luca Chirolli works as a Senior Researcher in the Quantum Physics group of the Quantum Research Center. His research activity focuses on quantum physics of solid-state systems, condensed matter systems and devices for quantum computing, in particular superconducting systems, topological matter, and quantum materials. He received his PhD from the University of Konstanz in Germany in 2010 and he worked as a postdoc at Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales and Imdea Nanoscience in Madrid. He was Marie Curie fellow at UC Berkeley and CNR Nano in Pisa for a global action on a project on Simulation of topological phases on superconducting circuits. Currently, he works on superconducting devices for quantum computing and quantum simulation.
