Dr. Anastasiia Nikolaeva

Dr. Anastasiia Nikolaeva completed her PhD in theoretical physics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 2023. She spent three years as a senior researcher at the Russian Quantum Center, focusing on quantum algorithms and their realization on both qubit and qudit platforms. Her work yielded efficient decomposition methods for multiqubit gates using qudits, which she successfully adapted for experimental implementation on trapped-ion and superconducting devices. She also introduced a general framework for implementing qubit quantum algorithms using qudits. Dr. Nikolaeva joined TII as a senior researcher in 2026 and will also be working in the field of quantum simulation.
