Dr. Alessandro Grosso

Dr. Alessandro Grosso holds a PhD in Photonics from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland and has extensive experience in the engineering consultancy and industrial sectors. He has worked as an R&D Engineer and Optical Engineer for various Italian companies, including Magneti Marelli, Datalogic, and Leonardo. Alessandro’s background and interests are primarily centered on Optical System design, with a particular focus on the space sector thanks to his experience as an Optical Engineer at Leonardo S.p.A. in the framework of the PLATO (PLAnetary Transit and Oscillation of stars) project for the European Space Agency.
