Welcome to the website for QTX-7! The seventh edition of the Workshop on Quantum Technologies on Small Satellites will take place on November 13th and 14th 2023 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Participation in the workshop is exclusively by invitation only. Should you wish to attend, please send an email to Sana Pyka at sana.pyka@tii.ae. Thank you for your interest.
The workshop is co-hosted by the QTX research forum led by Alexander Ling of NUS and Markus Krutzik of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz-institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik, with local support from James Grieve at the Technology Innovation Institute Abu Dhabi. The forum met previously in Singapore (2018 & 2022), Germany (2018), UK (2019), and online (2020, 2021).
The two-day event will focus on (small) satellite technologies and quantum experiments in space - including both space-based and ground architectures, from component through to mission design.
This year we will meet in sunny Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The venue will be announced shortly. Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend the Space Forum at the Dubai International Airshow, which will take place on November 15th and 16th less than one hour away.
