Technology Innovation Institute (TII) has joined the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (GFCC) as a Sustaining Member.
Founded in 2010, the GFCC brings together competitiveness and innovation-centric organizations, government agencies, corporations, and universities from more than 30 countries to work together on competitiveness strategies and promote best practices to drive innovation, productivity, and prosperity. This is achieved through high-level networking, in-depth conversations, analytical tools, advice, and education.
TII’s membership to the GFCC will significantly elevate Abu Dhabi’s and the UAE’s participation in the global body, and greatly complement the Institute’s ongoing efforts to boost competitiveness and economic growth. As a sustaining member, TII is set to play a prominent role in shaping the GFCC’s strategy and crafting its future vision, agenda, and priorities.
Dr. Ray O. Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of TII, said: “TII is delighted to join the GFCC as a Sustaining Member – a move that will considerably boost our efforts to enhance competitiveness globally. We are committed to playing a pivotal role in the innovation space worldwide to ensure greater awareness and uptake of our breakthrough research efforts and their outcomes.”
Deborah L. Wince-Smith, President of the GFCC, said: “We are honoured to welcome TII as a Sustaining Member of the GFCC. TII’s presence – and Dr. Johnson’s renowned vision and leadership – will empower the GFCC’s commitment to global competitiveness best practices, innovation, productivity, and inclusive prosperity.”
