خوان فيليغس

Juan Villegas is a postdoctoral researcher at the Quantum Foundry, the micro-fabrication branch of the Quantum Computing group at TII. He is a Ph.D. graduate from the Electrical Engineering program at New York University (US) and has a Master of Sciences in Microsystems Engineering from the Masdar Institute at Khalifa University (UAE). He has worked for many years in integrated optics, developing integrated devices in different platforms and for applications spanning from cybersecurity to sensing, as well as developing new materials for optical and opto-electronic applications. He now works with microwave optics to design superconductive components for quantum computing systems.
