Prof. Dr. Askery Canabarro

Prof. Canabarro completed his Ph.D. in Physics at the Federal University of Alagoas in 2010 and went on to do postdoctoral research at Boston University (2015), the University of São Paulo (2023), and Harvard University (2023). He is a tenured Associate Professor of Physics at the Federal University of Alagoas, where he leads the Quantum Computing Group in Campus Arapiraca. His research focuses on artificial intelligence, quantum computation, and quantum machine learning, mainly dealing with optimization problems.
