Dr. Vijay Singh
Dr Singh received his PhD in Physics in 2017 from the University of Hamburg, Germany, where he was awarded DFG funding for exploring superfluidity in two-dimensional ultracold clouds. Between 2017 and 2020 he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hamburg, Germany. After that he joined University of Hannover, Germany for postdoctoral research between 2020 and 2022. His area of expertise are semiclassical numerical methods and analytical approaches to solve quantum many-body dynamics of ultracold atom systems. This enabled him to study superfluid properties, nonequilibrium emergent phenomena, and tunnel junctions in these systems. His current research focuses on atom-based quantum devices and their fundamental properties, with applications in quantum technologies.
