Dr. Raquel Flores

Dr Flores received her M.Sc. degree in Physics Engineering from University of Lisbon (Portugal) in 2010, and the Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Engineering from Khalifa University (United Arab Emirates) in 2018, in the field of optical fiber-based microdevices. She continued as a postdoc in the same group for two more years, focusing on optical sensors and devices. She joined the Quantum Sensing Laboratory in January 2021 as a senior researcher to explore the development of sensors based on levitated optomechanical systems.
