Dr. Gian Camilo
Postdoctoral Researcher
Dr Gian Camilo holds a BSc and a MSc in physics from the Federal University of Itajuba, Brazil, and a Ph.D. in theoretical high-energy physics from the University of São Paulo in 2017, where he studied quantum field theories using the holographic duality. He then spent 4 years as a postdoctoral researcher at the International Institute of Physics in Natal, Brazil, working on non-equilibrium properties of quantum systems, entanglement and complexity of quantum fields, and gravity. Dr. Camilo joined TII in 2021. His focus is now on quantum algorithms and applications of near-term quantum devices.
