Dr. Alexandra Gurinovich
Dr Alexandra Gurinovich is a Member of the Board of Advisors of the Directed Energy Research Center (DERC) at the Technology Innovation Institute (TII), a cutting-edge UAE-based scientific research center. In this capacity, she provides expert guidance on pioneering research in high-energy physics.
Dr Gurinovich works as Lead Researcher at the Research Institute for Nuclear Problems (INP) at the Belarusian State University (BSU). Her research specialises in high-energy technologies.
Dr Gurinovich has authored three patents and more than 70 research papers published in international scientific journals. Her scientific interests lie in development and experimental study of volume free electron lasers, theoretical and experimental investigation of electron beam interaction with photonic crystals, design, development and experimental testing of explosive flux compression generators, guidance for more than 300 explosive experiments, design, development and experimental testing of high-power microwave sources (both wide-band and narrow-band) and testing of electronics vulnerability to high-power microwave pulses
She holds a PhD in Physics from BSU.
