Title: | Underwater Internet of Things |
Abstract: | Underwater Internet of Things (U-IoT) have found important applications in several sectors, such as ocean exploration, environment and infrastructure monitoring, oil and gas industry, offshore fishery and shipping, as well as military and coastal defense. This talk will first introduce some of the existing U-IoT applications that utilize acoustic wireless communications, then it will focus on a particular miniature fish tag and its advanced detection algorithms. Finally, several practical projects that Dr. Zheng’s lab is working are introduced. |
