Strategic Partnerships

We have established multiple partnerships and collaborations with top academic institutions across the globe. Our partners include:

Yale University Logo
Yale University

Two three-year R&D projects. The first project, “Light-Weight Crypto and Post-Quantum Crypto Hardware Accelerators and Trusted Execution Environment Designs”, focuses on a new research area: post-quantum lightweight cryptography. The second collaboration, “Energy-based Probing for Robust and Explainable Spiking Neural Networks”, investigates the adversarial robustness and explainability of spiking neural networks.

Ruhr Universitat Bochum Logo
Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB)

Three-year R&D project, “Evaluation and Implementation of Privacy-Preserving Cryptography for the Cloud” (EPICC). EPICC aims to design and implement secure constructions for cloud services, with a focus on applications to secure private and prediction systems. This includes techniques enabling machine learning and statistical analysis on private data.

Radboud University Nijmegen
Radboud University Nijmegen

Three-year R&D project targeting lightweight cryptography and aiming to develop software and hardware secure implementations, as well as to study the side-channel resistance of lightweight primitives.

Khalifa University
Khalifa University

Two projects. The first project is focused on designing an enhanced TESLA protocol for the IoT, while the second project aims at designing a secure FPGA involving reconfigurable post-quantum cryptography schemes and machine learning models.

University of Milan
University of Milan

One-year R&D project titled “Algebraic analysis of HMAC-SHA-1", with Prof Andrea Visconti, Head of the Cryptography and Coding Theory Group CLUB at the University of Milan. The project focus is on the analysis of algebraic models of a HMAC-SHA-1 and on the performance of automatic tools, such as Groebner Basis and SAT solvers, used to find pre-images and collisions of the primitive.

Universita di Torino
Università di Torino

One-year R&D project titled “Cryptanalysis of ARX ciphers”, with Prof Danilo Bazzanella, Head of the Cryptography and Number Theory Group Crypto of the Politecnico di Torino and the Università di Torino. The project’s focus is on the cryptanalysis of ARX ciphers from several different points of view, ranging from standard differential cryptanalysis to more modern modular addition and rotational cryptanalysis, and combining them with other techniques from other fields such as machine learning.

NYU
New York University

We are collaborating to write a series of publications focused on the intersection of post-quantum cryptography and hardware designs.

Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - UFSC
Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - UFSC

Two-year R&D project. The partnership with Federal University of Santa Catarina (Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - UFSC), in Florianópolis, Brazil, focuses on the study of hybrid protocol, covering key establishment and digital signature, considering the combination of currently used algorithms and post-quantum algorithms.

Visiting Scholars Programme

Our Visiting Scholars Programme provides valuable opportunities for distinguished researchers. Our fellows conduct research on specialised topics, with options for both short-term and long-term stays. They collaborate with our experts, and present talks and conduct workshops in their areas of expertise and research.

Graduate Programme

We provide exceptional opportunities for post-graduate students to spend two to three years working with our main principal investigators. During this time, they also can collaborate with local and international academic institutions.

In addition, we offer a number of year-long internship opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students.

Other graduate opportunities include dual-degree programmes we are developing between universities in the UAE and academic institutions in Europe.
